Background Information on Rural Home Nursing Service
Rural Home Nursing Service (trading name) was first established in February 1995. The purchase of a small local nursing service was made at that time and was known as Hastings Valley Home Nursing Service Pty.Ltd (the Company name). The two new owners Brian and Christine Hill then began to work on increasing the service both geographically and in patient size. The service started in the Hastings Area and then expanded to the Manning Area. In May 1997 Rural Home Nursing Service was successfully awarded accreditation with ACHS and has based its Business and Clinical practices accordingly since that time. By 2000 the Directors were approached to start a nursing service at Tamworth, as at that point there was only one Nursing Service operating within the Peel Valley Area. After the opening of the Tamworth Office the Directors decided for business and geographical reasons to discontinue servicing the Manning Area. The purchase and development of these Services saw a life long dream of Christine’s turn into reality to own her own Nursing Service. Ensuring to provide quality care within the home with no waiting lists for patients in commencing that care has always been a strong quality of the Service . Rural Home Nursing Service is the longest serving Nursing Service in the Hastings Valley Area and has seen many changes to home care and the geographical area itself. With the loyalty of great staff and a professional approach to care and training, Rural Home Nursing Service is looking forward to continue its patient services for years to come.
